Del Mar Company is a family-owned and operated construction company proudly serving homeowners throughout New Smyrna Beach and surrounding communities, including Port Orange, Edgewater, Winter Park, Maitland, Lake Mary, Sanford, and across Volusia County, Flagler County, Orange County and beyond.
Husband and Wife, Nick and Jaymi Schulz began their company Del Mar in 2008 after years in the Construction industry with other firms.
Nick, a native of California found himself in New Smyrna Beach in 1998 by way of the United States Coast Guard. Nick met Jaymi while Stationed at Ponce De Leon Inlet. Jaymi is a True New Smyrna beach native, born at Bert Fish Medical Center to a couple of well-known local surfers Jimmy and Mary Johnston.
After Nick’s enlistment ended in 1999 the couple moved to San Clemente, Ca., where Nick partnered with his long time friend Jason to start FS Concrete Construction. Jaymi worked on the corporate side of the surf clothing industry for Rip Curl USA. Fast forward a few years to the Birth of their first Daughter Kayla, with the arrival of their new baby the couple longed for the comfort of a their small town. They made the pilgrimage back to New Smyrna Beach in 2005 along with their new baby and trusted Golden Retriever Sumo. With the addition of the couples second daughter Kyra in 2008 their little family was complete. That same year they began to help other families make their dreams a reality by way of creating and building their dream homes! The two set out on this mission with a simple motto in Mind… “Quality… from conception to completion.” this Motto is as true today as it was then.
